An opportunity has arisen for an experienced senior manager to  take up the role of General Manager for Central Services.
The General Manager is currently responsible for a group of centralised but varied services such as : Learning Disabilities, Substance Misuse, IAPT, Perinatal and Eating Disorders and General Managers are expected to cover across all operational services at times. This portfolio may change in the light of reorganizational change.
The post holder will need to have a proven track record of operationally managing services at a senior level and experience of managing commissioner relationships will be crucial to the role.
The post holder will need to have excellent communication skills and the ability to network across a range of services and agencies.
A level of senior management experience is a prerequisite and there will be positive support offered and development opportunities within the role.

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
