This is a rare and exciting opportunity for a paediatric occupational therapist wishing to specialise in occupational therapy for pre-school children.

We are seeking a dynamic, forward thinking occupational therapist keen to continue the promotion and development of the role of the occupational therapist within a local and national context for children in this age group. If you enjoy a challenge and like working as part of a team whilst being able to rely on your own initiative this may be the job for you.

You will be based with a close and supportive team of occupational therapists and physiotherapists within the Ronnie MacKeith Child Development Centre at Derby Childrens Hospital. This community post involves assessing and treating babies and young children in clinic, homes and nurseries.

Our forward thinking team encourages originality and innovation. Within the early years team we have award winning therapists, published authors and representatives on national committees.

Derbyshire with its wonderful surrounding countryside is a fantastic place to live and work. We operate flexible working arrangements.

Regular supervision is provided and we encourage training and personal development.

A driving licence and access to transport is required, allowances are payable.
