Home Treatment Team, General Adult Psychiatry
Base: Radbourne Unit, Uttoxeter Road, Derby, DE22 3WQ
£37,176 to £69,325 per annum, pro rata
10 PAs per week 9-5 Mon-Fri No on-call
We are looking to recruit an SAS doctor to join and be an integral be part of the Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment team for the City of Derby.
This is a full-time post within a pan-Derbyshire Team that provides alternatives to hospital admission for patients experiencing acute mental health problems. You will be supporting our consultant, Dr Matthew Joseph and a well-established team of psychiatric nurses. Strong administrative support underpins the team and there are robust linkages with inpatient, liaison and community services. Junior doctor supervision and undergraduate teaching are core components of the post.
The post is based within the Radbourne Unit which includes inpatient wards, day unit and undergraduate psychiatric teaching rooms. Radbourne possesses dedicated car parking. The general hospital (Royal Derby)l is on the same site and the Psychiatric Education Centre only one mile away.
Study Leave budget is £1000PA subject to peer group approval.
