A great opportunity to develop your career has arisen within Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust’s Older Adults Services for a full-time Specialty Doctor in Old Age Psychiatry.
This well-established role involves 8 PAs of clinical work at Cubley Court, our state-of-the-art dementia assessment unit situated at Kingsway Hospital, which houses our Trust’s Education as well as Research and Development Centres. You will also undertake clinic work (1PA) at the London Road Community Hospital, which is 3 miles from Cubley Court.
You will be clinically supervised by a Consultant Psychiatrist and a Consultant Geriatrician and given ample opportunities for continuous professional development, including 1 PA, set for supporting professional activities. You will be supported by a Foundation Doctor and trainee Advanced Clinical Practitioner (non-medical physical health specialist). “
