Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service for Children with a Intellectual Disability (CAMHS-ID)

We a seeking to recruit a skilled learning disability practitioner to join our multi disciplinary team. This exciting opportunity will provide the successful applicant with the opportunity to work in small multidisciplinary team consisting of Clinical psychology, Nursing, OT and Psychiatry.

The CAMHS- ID team are commissioned to work with children and young people across Derbyshire with Intellectual Disabilities who need support with their mental health or emotional and behavioural well-being.  

You will need to be committed to delivering child and family centred care across South Derbyshire, in a range of community settings including home, schools, and local children’s centres. You will be responsible for providing day to day case management and providing assessment, intervention and care co-ordination for complex cases. The team provides a service Monday to Friday 9-5 but is responsive to family needs so on occasions work outside these hours.

Training and support will be provided to any successful candidate after identifying those needs.

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
