Senior Nurse/Ward Manager
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 7 Senior Nurse on Cherry Tree Close –Rehabilitation Unit, Kingsway Hospital.
The team are motivated and forward thinking and the focus of the ward is delivering
high quality assessment and rehabilitation with an emphasis on encouraging independence.
This would be a unique opportunity for anyone who has the skills and experience to lead an experienced inpatient team in the delivery of a High Quality/Innovative service. In addition to clinical leadership there is an operational management component to the role with responsibility for the ward budget, sickness Management, training and staff development.
Good communication skills are essential for engaging clients, carers/families and multi-professionals. The post is a challenging but rewarding role. Applicants are expected to have experience at Band 6 level. Robust management supervision and clinical supervision is available to support the post holder.
