This is an opportunity for a suitably skilled and experienced physiotherapist to join our well established adult learning disability service.
The successful candidate will meet the requirements of the person specification and will be a skilled communicator who can work effectively with service users, carers, colleagues and other agencies. They will be primarily based in the Derby City Community Team for Learning Disabilities (a multidisciplinary, specialist health team), but may be required to be based and work anywhere in Derby or Derbyshire (South Derbyshire, South Dales, Amber Valley or Erewash).
The post requires specialist skills (or transferable and developing skills for band 5) in learning disabilities and candidates must be committed to maintaining and developing these skills. There is ample opportunity for continuing professional development working alongside experienced and knowledgeable colleagues, accessing diverse training opportunities and via supervision and mentoring.
Part-time hours would be available, if required.
