As part of Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust transformational programme we are looking for a senior manager to develop our plans for community based forensic services and to establish a lead role in the development of complex care provision.

We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated General Manager who can lead Complex Care Services and future developments through times of major change.

This is a key operational management role within the Trust, reporting to the Deputy Director of Operations. You will provide General Manager operational leadership to the newly developing Community Forensic Service and will lead project development in relation to complex care. You will be a key member of the Senior Management Team providing cover for colleagues and sharing in all General Manager duties.

Working with the Deputy Director of Operations, you will ensure effective decision making through the appropriate forums and ensure that robust systems are in place to effectively manage resources; physical, financial and staffing.

You will take a lead role in the delivery of the Complex Care Service Key Performance Indicators and ensure performance is at the highest level. You will work collaboratively with clinical leads in order to ensure that your service area is placing patient experience at the core of all service delivery.

You will hold a relevant degree and relevant professional qualification and will have established experience at a senior management level.

You will also play a key role in commissioning relationships and will need experience of developing services alongside commissioners and of coordinating processes relating to national bids.

There is an imperative to deliver service development at pace and you will need to demonstrate an existing network of relevant interagency relationships
