Derbyshire Healthcare is proud to deliver compassionate care from smoke-free environments.A focus on recoveryHere at Derbyshire Healthcare, we are committed to working alongside the people who use our services, to help them lead meaningful and satisfying lives. We believe in compassionate, patient-centred care. Each member of staff has a part to play in supporting the people who use our services. The Kedleston Low Secure Unit at Kingsway Site in Derby currently requires Band 5 Registered Nurses to come and work within our team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced or newly qualified enthusiastic Registered Nurse to join our multi-disciplinary team, delivering nursing care and treatment to clients typically from a medium secure service or prison setting who require further care within a secure supportive environment. The multi-disciplinary team provides for individuals with more complex needs, including those with forensic histories and dual diagnosis.
As a named nurse you will be providing high quality, evidence based care. The successful applicant will be a fundamental member of the multi-disciplinary, multi- agency team. It is essential that you have excellent communication skills and that you operate as a well-integrated team member, participating in regular Clinical Supervision and Case Load Management. In turn, we can offer you a robust preceptorship package if required, bespoke training to our setting and support with career development and progression.
We would welcome applications from people who feel they have the qualities and skills to work in this demanding environment.
Applications welcomed from experienced Learning Disabilities Nurses.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
