An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated dietitian to join the mental health dietetics team in Derbyshire.

We are looking for a band 5 dietitian, with recent post-registration experience, who is looking for the next step in their career. We also welcome applications from newly qualified dietitians who are interested in working within mental health; a growing and forward thinking area of dietetic practice.
The successful applicant will be provided with training and a structured competency framework to support them to develop the knowledge and skills required to progress towards a band 6 specialist dietitian role.
You will be responsible for a varied clinical caseload and providing a dietetics service to our mental health inpatient units, working closely with multi-disciplinary teams. In addition to clinical work your role will include delivering staff training, student training and supporting our hospital catering department.
You will also have the opportunity to contribute towards service development and help shape the delivery of nutritional care within a mental health setting.
The successful applicant will be supported by a small and friendly team who are committed to continued professional development and training opportunities. Clinical supervision will be provided by a specialist mental health dietitian.
The post will be based at the Kingsway Hospital in Derby; however ability to travel to various locations across Derbyshire is required.
