Please note you must obtain approval of your current line manager prior to applying for this post.

Expressions of interest are invited for secondment to a Band 5 Registered nurse in the DRRT.

Contract will be for approximately 12 months 4 June 2018 to 28 June 2019 to cover maternity leave.

The South DRRT cover a large geographical area (covering Derby city, Amber valley, Erewash, Derbyshire Dales & South Derbyshire).

The team currently work Monday to Friday 8am -8pm (shift patterns inclusive of 8am -4pm) & 12 noon to 8pm. The service is also available between the hours of 9am - 5pm Sat and Sun.

The DRRT has been developed to offer rapid assessment, intervention, treatment and care to support people in their own homes and within 24 hour care settings in promoting their independence and recovery, and to support people in a crisis to 'live well with Dementia', including family & carers.

This post would suit someone with previous experience, knowledge and skills within Dementia care.

The Band 5 role would include prompt care plan & treatment formulation, awareness as to NICE guidance in Dementia & Delirium.

There would be an expectation that you would work closely with other Band 6s within the team, and other statutory and non statutory professionals and agencies in enabling service user recovery.
