An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Nurse to join our team on Ward 36 at The Radbourne Unit

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to become part of our Multi Disciplinary Team providing high standards of 24 hour inpatient care. Ward 36 is a busy 20 bedded mixed sex ward delivering care to patients from Derby and Derbyshire who are suffering from an episode of acute mental illness.

Applicants are expected to demonstrate a keen interest and understanding in the key principles of ‘recovery’ and will be expected to work collaboratively with patients and their carers in order to sustain an attitude and environment where hope is maintained and recovery is possible. We are looking for a candidate who has excellent interpersonal and team working skills, the ability to motivate and support individuals in overcoming challenges and working towards their goals and a genuine interest in working with patients suffering from severe mental illness.

The post is full time and will involve working shifts, night, late and early shifts with some weekends and bank holidays.
