A vacancy has arisen in the North Derbyshire Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Team. Your main base will be at Chesterfield. However on occasions you may be required to provide clinical cover at our satellite base in Chapel-en-Le Frith.
We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic practitioner to join this forward thinking team whom is willing to work along side experienced professionals in the team and also display the ability to work and make decisions independently. The post will be open to suitably experienced band 5 registered nurses.
Interested parties require a minimum of one years post registration experience within an acute setting, as a large part of the teams work involves assessing people in mental health crisis within a variety of settings and challenging situations. Applicants must be familiar with and engage in assessments on a regular basis and hold a full UK driving licence.
We Act as Gate Keepers to hospital admission, and have the philosophy of a “hospital at home” vision. We work with patients with complex mental health needs, and offer treatment in the least restrictive environment possible with a focus on empowerment/recovery focus for the service user/and families.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
