We are looking for an experienced, dynamic and enthusiastic Service Manager/Clinician to manage the Adult Eating Disorder Service for people with Anorexia Nervosa. The DHCFT Eating Disorder Service was established in 2007, it is a small team which, up and till now, provides a specialist service to  the City of Derby and the County of Derbyshire. The team provide a high quality, focused service delivering NICE recommended interventions directly to Clients and their families, and also provide consultation and advice to a wide range of staff. The Service works in partnership with First Steps Self help and support service in addition the service has close working relationship with other eating disorders services in the East Midlands region and local acute hospital. 

As a Service manager you will be expected to be responsible for the daily running of the team and in delivering clinical interventions as part of the team. You will be expected to have an interest in, or be willing to develop an interest in, working with people with co morbid mental health disorders.

You will be expected to manage the team of approximately 10 staff. You will be expected to maintain good working relationships both inside and outside the trust. You will need to have the ability to manage clients with high levels of complexity and risk. You will also have experience of offering consultation, training and supervision to support the delivery of clinical interventions within the team.  Candidates will be expected to demonstrate a keen interest in working with people with eating disorders. It is essential that you have registration with the HPC or NMC.

The current team comprises a CBT therapist, Acting Service Manager, Psychologists, Nurse Therapists, Dietician, Occupational Therapist, Consultant Psychiatrist and an administrators.
